The 2014 APEC meeting will be held in Yanqi Lake, Huairou, Beijing in late November 2014, when leaders from dozens of countries and regions will attend the summit. The hardware facilities serving the summit are also ready to welcome the successful convening of the summit.

The Yanqi Lake Core Island Cage Football Stadium Project contracted by our company was successfully completed on October 12th and passed the acceptance. The completion of the cage football stadium will provide convenience for the rest and entertainment of the participants during the APEC meeting.

The cage football field on the core island of Yanqi Lake is 40 meters long and 20 meters wide, which can meet the requirements of five-player football matches. The lawn of the football field is made of imported Sailong grass silk. The periphery of the field is equipped with a 4-meter-high fence. In addition, the field is equipped with 10 1000-watt metal halide lamps to provide sufficient light for night activities.

Because of the particularity of the location of the core island of Yanqi Lake, the construction process of the site is very difficult. Due to the upcoming APEC meeting, the security measures on the island are extremely strict, the access of materials, machinery and personnel is very difficult, coupled with the urgent construction period, which aggravates the difficulty of project implementation.

Faced with this series of problems, the general manager and deputy general manager of the company personally supervised the battle, worked with the construction personnel on the site from dawn to dusk, and overcome difficulties. Through their unremitting efforts, the project was completed on schedule and received unanimous praise from Party A.

The APEC meeting will be held soon. The successful completion of the football stadium on the core island of Yanqi Lake can be said to be a gift presented by our company for this meeting. I wish the APEC meeting a success.
