The Minister of Sports and Physical Education of the Republic of Congo Visited Our Company and Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Our Company on Behalf of the Government of the Republic of Congo

On October 16th, 2013, following President 's historic visit to the Republic of Congo to further deepen the friendship between China and the Republic of Congo, Leon Alfered Obamba, Minister of Sports and Physical Education of the Republic of Congo, and his delegation were invited to visit China.

In 2015, the Republic of Congo will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 11th African Games. In order to meet such an important moment, the Congolese government attaches great importance to it and hopes that the organization of the event will be successful, so as to improve the quality and management level of domestic stadiums and gymnasiums as a whole.

In order to learn from the successful experience of the Chinese government in hosting major international events such as the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2013 East Asian Games, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education of the Republic of Congo, with the entrustment of President Sassou of Congo, led a delegation to China for venue observation and business negotiation at the invitation of our company.

On the afternoon of October 16th, Minister Obamba and his delegation came to Pan-China Building and listened to the company's introduction made by General Manager Li Haibin. Minister Obamba said that China and Pakistan have a long history of friendly cooperation, and President Xi's visit to the Republic of Congo this year has deepened mutual understanding and trust. The President of the Republic of Congo also attached great importance to his visit and entrusted him with various exchanges with relevant Chinese institutions and cooperation with excellent Chinese sports enterprises.

Chairman Cui Zhiqiang said: Pan-China Sports, as the earliest international sports industry group in China dedicated to the construction of sports facilities, event organization and training, and venue management and operation, has participated in the construction of sports facilities in many African countries, accumulated rich working experience, and has a deeper understanding of local culture. We hope to take the 2015 African Games as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation with the Congolese government.

After the meeting, Minister Obamba signed a strategic cooperation agreement with our company on behalf of the Congolese government.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement signed by the two sides, the government of the Republic of Congo entrusted our company to be responsible for the management, personnel training and venue operation of several sports facilities in Congo, so as to prepare for the 11th African Games to be held in Brazzaville in 2015.

Mr. Daniel Owasa, Ambassador of the Republic of Congo to China, relevant government officials of the Republic of Congo, Mr. Hu Jianguo, former Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Olympic Committee, and relevant leaders of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government attended the signing ceremony.


Chairman Cui Zhiqiang and Minister Obamba signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides.
