On July 12th, the 2016 Beijing Campus Five-a-side Football Match and Small Football Competition was successfully concluded at the Ole Football Stadium of Beijing Jingwu Building. This is the brand competition of campus football in our city. This competition has attracted 161 teams from grade one to grade six of primary school, junior high school and senior high school. The number of players and coaches is more than 1500, of which the proportion of female athletes is 12.8%. It covers 16 districts of Beijing. The competition lasts for 5 days and has more than 300 matches. It is a wonderful feast for the students who love football in Beijing's primary and secondary schools.

Beijing has taken many measures in curriculum, teachers, teaching, competition activities and football culture to comprehensively promote the popularization and development of campus football. In the competition activities, we should pay attention to improving the competition system, strengthening the leadership at the municipal level, driving all districts, schools and classes to carry out various forms and distinct levels of football matches according to local conditions, linking up the activities of city, district and school matches, actively creating a cultural atmosphere of campus football, and constantly expanding the participation of young people in football. With the principle of popularization, development and people-oriented education, this competition is divided into grade groups in the competition system. At the same time, each football team is required to have at least one female player. This design effectively promotes the districts and schools to pay attention to full coverage in football teaching and football activities organization.

In order to effectively carry out the education of the three major balls for the younger students in primary schools, continuously promote the popularization of the three major balls on campus, and further deepen the reform of physical education in schools throughout the city, this competition has specially designed a "Three-person Football Match", which is flexible, interesting, less confrontational and more suitable for the wide participation of young children, aiming at cultivating their interest in football and team spirit.

The closing ceremony and award ceremony were held after the competition.
