On January 5th, 2021, the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center Stadium and Warm-up Stadium, which were built by Pan-China Sports, won the IAAF first-class venue certification, reaching the highest standard of IAAF venue construction, and was also the first venue in the five northwest provinces to obtain this certification.
At present, Xi'an Olympic Sports Center has the qualifications to host world-class track and field events such as Olympic track and field competitions, world track and field championships, Asian track and field championships, and IAAF Golden League. The main stadium of Xi'an Olympic Sports Center includes an international standard 400 m comprehensive track and field field, with 9 circular runways and 10 west straight tracks. The 400m standard runway adopts the international top rubber runway.

It is understood that the 14th National Games will be held in Shaanxi from September 15 to 27 this year, which is also the first time that the National Games have come to the central and western regions. Shaanxi Province has identified 53 venues and facilities for the current National Games. Up to now, the construction of 51 competition venues has been completed, and the remaining two non-competition venues are being implemented as planned. The roads and supporting facilities around the National Games Village and venues are also under construction. From March to the end of June this year, the test event of the National Games will begin in an all-round way.
