With the last piece of turf installed in place, the special football field project of Qatar's Russel Stadium, the main venue of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which was constructed by Pan China Sports, was fully completed on September 3th,2021.

The Russell Stadium is located in the new city of Russell, Qatar. It covers an area of 450,000m2. The total design capacity of the stadium is 80000 seats. It can accommodate up to 92000 people to watch matches at the same time. It is one of the largest stadiums in the world.

The football field project of Russel Stadium is designed and constructed according to the highest FIFA standards, covering many professional systems such as ground sprinkler irrigation, underground drip irrigation, root ventilation, anchoring grass and environmental testing of football field. After completion, the football stadium of Lussel Stadium will become one of the football stadiums with the highest degree of standardization, the most advanced technology and the most perfect facilities in the world. The contract work scope of Pan China Sports includes the whole process of deepening design, equipment and material procurement, construction and installation, operation adjustment, and maintenance.

The football field was constructed by turf transplanting technology. Platinum TETM Paspalum, imported from the United States, was selected. In order to achieve the best growth performance of the turf, it was pre-cultivated and maintained one year in advance.

In just two months, it completed all the construction contents of the football field from earthwork excavation to turf transplanting.
