After the World Association of Athletics Federations Diamond League, Xiamen Bailu Stadium held another high-level event - the Group B match of the second stage of the 2024 Paris Olympics women's Asian qualifiers. This was the highest standard, highest level, and highest level football tournament hosted by Xiamen.

October 26th-November 1th, 2023, the Chinese women's football team would face the South Korean women's football team, Thai women's football team, and North Korean women's football team at home. The second stage of the Asian qualifiers was divided into three groups, using a single round robin format. The first place winner from each group and the second place winner from the best performing group advance to the third stage of the qualifiers.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the event, the Pan China Sports project team has actively entered the preparation work for event security since September 2023, participating in venue security training, conducting test matches, and pre match rehearsals organized by the Chinese Football Association. The competition started on Oct26th,2023, and the final preparation work for the lawn was in full swing: workers were finely trimming the dry grass inside the lawn, detailing key areas such as the corner kick and goal areas, and double machine pressing of the yin-yang line on the lawn.
