This is another standard for the construction of sports facilities in China drafted by Pan-China Sports as a member of the expert group.

01 Background of standard preparation

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and society and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, national fitness activities have been vigorously carried out, and physical fitness has been integrated into people's daily life. The state has promulgated and implemented a series of policies and guidelines, such as the National Fitness Program (2016-2020), the 13th Five-Year Plan for Sports Development, and the 13th Five-Year Plan for Sports Industry Development, which are used to plan and guide the construction of fitness facilities such as national fitness activity centers, farmers'sports fitness projects, fitness paths and multi-functional public stadiums. This standard stipulates the definition of multi-functional public stadium, puts forward the overall requirements of stadium planning and construction, project allocation principles and management requirements, and elaborates in depth the requirements of venue performance, sports equipment and ancillary facilities. Among them, the site system is specified in detail from the aspects of orientation and appearance specifications, surface requirements, site performance, seepage performance, flatness and slope.
