On the evening of September 2nd,2023, the 2023 World Athletics Diamond League Xiamen Station was held at the Egret Stadium. This year's Diamond League Xiamen Station is the first major event held at the Xiamen Egret Stadium since its completion and also the highest-level event ever held in Xiamen. A total of 151 athletes from 38 countries and regions around the world participated in the competition. In the fierce competition of 13 diamond-point events for both men and women, they presented a spectacular high-level track and field event. The competition set 4 world's best results this year.

The breakthrough in the competition results is closely related to the condition of the competition venue. Pan China Sports team provided full support for the event, ensuring that the venue was in the best condition. After the competition, it was unanimously recognized by the athletes.
